L4 / POST 1 /WEEK 3:
A COUNTRY I WOULD LIKE TO VISIT.
Sinse I was a little kid I have always wanted to know Mexico. In a first case it was because my Father listens to Mexican music sinse I have memory, and in those years, for a little child like me the lyrics of the songs were very interesting, and nowadays I still found that music full of passion and very good. Songwriters like José Alfredo Jiménez, Paquita La del Barrio or Pedro Infante show me a dramatic and intense face of Mexican culture.

When women took up arms to join the revolution
In other way, I have studied the History of the country and I found it very interesting, in a firts place all the pre columbian civilizations, the pyramids and the ruins you can visit. I love the tales of the revolutión, Francisco Villa and Emiliano Zapata are great historical characters ( and again, the music that tells the tales is awesome), and finally I would like to be close to Chiapas and the Zapatistas, I admire th Sub Comandante Marcos, I have read a few books written by him and the topics he talks and thinks about are great.

Juan Rulfo
Finally, my last reason to dream about visiting mexico is the literature. In higschool I star reading Juan Rulfo, Roberto Bolaño, Elena Poniatowska and others, so it was like my last crush to the heart about Mexico. I Would Like to do a postgraduate curse or something to live there at leats 6 months so i could visit and know all the things I have mentioned.
I like the idea because is not so hard to realice and the hope to know the country still alive in my head.

I find very interesting Mexico, there's a lot of history like the ruins, culture pre columbian among others, but it would give me a little bit of fear go to Mexico for drug trafficking and kidnapping. I hope you can go to Mexico and remember your childhood.
