Cinema and movies

the last four years of my life, I have been exposed to a lot of movies and filmakers (because I study Cinema). Many of the directors and generes, and kind of movies that I have seen the past years, have really blown my mind in many aspects, but in this big group of references and new stuff, there is a director that shines in a particulary way.

This person is Raùl Ruiz, his cinema is very diferent,  and this is beacuse he plays all the time with the narrative structures and forms, he is like a child and an old man at the same time, so smart and free to make cinema, I really apreciate to have cross my way with his cinema.

I remember when I was a little kid, I saw one of his movies in the TV and it was very funny and weird, then, when the years passed, I started studyng Cinema and I received an invitation by mail to attend to a film cycle named "making off",  it was special because, many  of the people who  worked  with Ruiz in the past , where there presenting  the movies and talking about the filming and stuff.

All of them, old  actors and filmakers, laughed a lot whit the memories, and the movies where made to make the people laught and it was aweosome. After that, I get in to a CFG about Raùl Ruiz, and I have seen a lot of his movies and read a lot about him.

SUMMER HOLIDAYS I love to make plans for the summer, I used to save money during the year and travel somewhere like the south or the beach, with my family we used to go to el kisko all the summers so since I was a child I get used to take a week or two out of santiago whatever it takes. The summer I went out of highschool I make autostop with a friend until we get to Chiloé, the summer of the 2016, autostoping to, y travel until Uruguay. Autostop is a great option if you wanna know the places in weird ways or to know the b side of countries. This summer I was thinking to do it but to the north, even  maybe cross to Perú but I'm not that sure, because I went out of class at the ending of january and I'm not sure if I wanna spend my savings in a travel, because maybe is better for me to buy cinema equipment and have a working tool for the future. Any way, if I don't travel to the north, probably I will spend a week or two in the “Litoral Central”, which is one o...
I don't really know why do I finish studing Cinema and Tv. When I was a little kid I wanted to be an archaeologist because I saw Indiana Jones and it made me want to be in that kind of places and live that kind of adventures. Then a I grew up and wanted to be a social Anthropologist ( I didn't know myself anyway, I really was an indecisive boy who convinced himself what wanted to do one thing or another without be sure about it ), but when I finally took the PSU I didn't make it,  my score was not enough, so I entered to Sociology in facso, but,I quit in the first semester. After my first and failed  university experience, I started  working in different stuff, I worked in a few filmings and in advertising and I realised I wanted to do cinema, because it was kind of funny  and from another perspective I  love chilean documentaries and all those things together were like, all rigth, I will study cinema.  So, I did enter to the icei to study cine...

MEXICO: A COUNTRY I WOULD LIKE TO VISIT.

L4 / POST 1 /WEEK 3: A COUNTRY I WOULD LIKE TO VISIT. Sinse I was a little kid I have always wanted to know Mexico. In a first case it was because my Father  listens to Mexican music sinse I have memory, and in those years, for a little child like me the lyrics of the songs were very interesting, and nowadays  I still found that music full of passion and very good. Songwriters  like José Alfredo Jiménez, Paquita La del Barrio or Pedro Infante show me a dramatic and intense face of Mexican culture. When women took up arms to join the revolution In other way, I have studied the History of the country and I found it very interesting, in a firts place all the  pre columbian civilizations, the pyramids and the ruins you can visit.  I love the tales of the revolutión, Francisco Villa and Emiliano Zapata are great historical characters ( and again,  the music that tells the tales is awesome), and finally I would like to be close to Chiapas and the Zapati...
